Robar Inc., producer of Babyworks and Mini Muffin, to join Cutie Pie Baby

Cutie Pie Baby, a supplier in the children’s clothing industry has announced that they have acquired Robar, Inc. Robar a once competitor and now part of the Cutie Pie offices, houses two children’s clothing lines, Babyworks and Mini Muffin.

Jack Yedid, CEO, and Eli Yedid, president of Cutie Pie Baby plan to grow the already national brands through using existing Cutie Pie and Robar relationships to form new partnerships for both companies. “The plan is to continue to produce clothing of the same quality and aesthetic for the existing customers to make the transition as smooth as possible,” Yedid notes. Working toward a seamless changeover, Cutie Pie has also connected with Robar’s factories and has taken on some of Robar’s key employees including Peter Dunbar, the previous owner of the company.

The merger will prove to be an intrinsic benefit for Cutie Pie’s current lines, as they will be able to cultivate Robar’s relationships with Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s and specialty stores across the country. Along with last year’s addition of Rugged Bear, Cutie Pie Baby seems to be looking at a bright new year as they continue to add to their showroom.
